Crime Science, by nature, involves the study of people. This means that the work I complete as a data scientist often uses personal data of living individuals. In the majority of cases accessing certain data requires security clearance or contractual agreement prior to being given access to any data. Therefore, although I promote the idea of OpenScience, data that requires restricted access cannot be published or distributed. In some cases it also means that code developed cannot be shared.
However, I will endeavour to share code snippets that people will find useful, datasets collated from open sources (web-scraping), and the results and code of all work that is publishable.
Below is a list of GitHub repositories that I am currently working on so please feel free to fork and send pull requests.
